The Philips C8-4V is a broadband, tightly curved endocavity ultrasound transducer designed for high-resolution imaging in women's health and urology. The combination of broadband technology and a tightly curved array gives you images with excellent resolution and tissue differentiation. The 4–8 MHz range lets you dial in the right frequency for the job. At higher frequencies (closer to 8 MHz), you get outstanding near-field resolution for superficial structures like the endometrium or ovarian follicles. At lower frequencies (closer to 4 MHz), you get better penetration for deeper structures or larger patients.
