► Brief Description

It includes a front panel with interfaces for carbon dioxide (CO2), invasive blood pressure (IBP), and body temperature (Temp), along with matching internal connection brackets.

Right side (gray plastic section): This is the front end of the module for connecting to the patient's endotracheal tube or breathing circuit. Internally, it contains an infrared transmitter and receiver for measuring carbon dioxide concentration in the gas.

Left side (reddish-brown rectangular assembly): This is the back panel for connecting to the M3000 series measurement server (e.g., M3001A). This connector is used for data and power transmission.

Middle green circuit board (PCB): This is the core component of the module. Densely packed chips (ICs) on the board process analog signals from the sensors, calculate carbon dioxide concentration and respiratory rate, and communicate with the monitor host.

Functional application: This is a maintenance sub-component. These components are used when the M3014A module's housing is damaged, or when integration of the CO2 module with the blood pressure/temperature module is required.

Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) Sensitivity: Handle the PCB with care to avoid ESD damage.

Power Surge: Avoid connecting the module to a display with an unstable power supply.

Physical Shock: Do not drop the module, as the internal optical components are very delicate.

Liquid Damage: Avoid contact with liquids on the circuit board to prevent short circuits.
