The Philips C6-2 is a high-performance convex array probe. Combining broadband technology and Philips' proprietary SonoCT and xRes image processing algorithms, it meets a wide range of clinical needs, from routine abdominal and obstetric examinations to pediatric and interventional guidance, making it a standard feature in whole-body ultrasound examinations.

1. SonoCT Imaging: Provides real-time imaging similar to CT, enhancing the clarity of tissue boundaries.

2. xRes Imaging: An advanced image processing technology that optimizes image detail resolution and contrast in real time, reducing speckle noise for sharper, clearer images.

Broadband Design (2-6 MHz): This frequency range achieves a good balance. Lower frequencies (2-3 MHz) offer sufficient penetration for examining deep abdominal tissues and obese patients; higher frequencies (5-6 MHz) provide fine resolution for examining superficial structures or pediatric and neonatal diseases.

The curved contact surface of the convex array probe closely conforms to the curvature of the human abdomen, providing a wide fan-shaped field of view.
