1. Open the back cover of the VM6 patient monitor and find the original keypress encoding board (located at the back of the key panel).

2. Disconnect the cable connector of the original encoding board and remove the fixed screws.

3. Install the new encoding board, ensure that the connector is aligned with the interface of the motherboard, and tighten the screws.

4. Power on to test the key function, and after confirmation, reinstall the back cover.
