This is an Anesthesia Gas Module (Model: M1019A) developed specifically for the IntelliVue G5 patient monitoring system, and it comes supplied with a dedicated Water Trap component.

1. It uses a compact, plug‑in mechanical design that enables smooth integration into compatible monitor racks, and supports both vertical and horizontal installation.

2. The module enclosure is made of sturdy medical‑grade materials, with precisely manufactured gas sampling ports and reliable electrical connectors.

3. Its primary role is to provide real‑time sidestream analysis of anesthetic and respiratory gases during surgical operations.

4. Using advanced infrared spectroscopy technology, the module continuously measures and shows the concentrations of inspired and expired oxygen (O₂), carbon dioxide (CO₂), nitrous oxide (N₂O), and volatile anesthetic agents including Sevoflurane, Isoflurane, Desflurane, Enflurane, and Halothane.

5. The included water trap assembly acts as a key interface between the patient sampling line and the internal analyzer, efficiently removing moisture and impurities from the gas sample to protect measurement components and maintain accurate readings.

6. Special attention must be paid to the manifold seals between the water trap and the analyzer during replacement; improper installation may cause gas leaks and lead to inaccurate monitoring results.
