The Philips C9-4v is a broadband, tightly curved array transducer designed for endocavitary imaging. It is the 9–4 MHz extended frequency range. The 128-element array and 26.2 mm aperture keep the images uniform across that entire field.It sits at the heart of a range of OB/GYN and urology workflows, giving clinicians a wide 181° field of view from a probe that is compact enough to navigate the vaginal canal comfortably.

The C9-4v transducer supports a full suite of imaging modes essential for a versatile probe: steerable pulsed-wave and color Doppler for vascular assessment, Color Power Angio for detecting low-velocity flow, and SonoCT compound imaging and XRES speckle noise reduction technology for optimized tissue boundary visualization. It also supports biopsy capabilities, allowing for guided procedures via an attachable needle guide without the need to switch transducers.
