The Philips 3D9-3v is a broadband, large-curvature volumetric array probe designed specifically for transvaginal imaging. Unlike standard 2D endocavitary probes, it captures complete 3D volumetric data in a single sweep. Covering a wide frequency range of 9–3 MHz, the probe allows users to switch between high frequencies for detailed near-field visualization and low frequencies for deep tissue penetration. Its 130° field of view and 156° × 85° volume acquisition window provide a broad view of pelvic anatomy; featuring a 128-element design, the probe supports 3D and 4D imaging capabilities while also producing high-resolution 2D images. Additionally, it supports real-time 4D imaging, facilitating the observation of fetal activity or dynamic changes in pelvic structures.
