The key membrane in the Philips Goldway UT7000C is located between the front panel of the display and the internal keyboard. This key membrane uses a multi-layered composite structure. The top layer is a durable PET touch panel that can withstand hundreds of presses per day. The middle layer contains conductive carbon ink circuitry, and the bottom layer has metal clips that contact the keyboard below when a button is pressed.
