► Product Introduction

Measures cardiac output (C.O.) and continuous cardiac output (CCO). The module provides both intermittent (bolus) cardiac output measurements and continuous cardiac output monitoring. This means you can get a snapshot of cardiac performance when you need it, or track it in real time for patients whose haemodynamics are unstable.

Offers a choice of two measurement methods. You can select between the PiCCO method (transpulmonary thermodilution) and the Right Heart Thermodilution method. The PiCCO method goes beyond simple cardiac output – it also enables continuous cardiac output via pulse contour analysis and provides additional parameters like intrathoracic blood volume and extravascular lung water. The right heart method is the more traditional approach, using a pulmonary artery catheter
