The Philips MMX Module 867036 (full name: Philips IntelliVue MMX Multi-Measurement Module) is a modular core measurement unit for patient monitors. Simply put, it's a "functional core box" that typically connects to the Philips IntelliVue main unit to provide comprehensive vital sign monitoring capabilities for the monitor.

This module integrates the measurement capabilities of multiple physiological parameters: it features sensor interfaces for ECG/Resp, SpO₂, Temp, Press², and NBP, enabling simultaneous monitoring of multiple physiological parameters. With an IP32 protection rating and weighing only 0.7kg, it is lightweight, durable, and supports data storage even after disconnection, ensuring continuous data recording during patient transport.

Before use, carefully check that all sensor interfaces are intact and ensure that the connecting wires, probes, and other accessories meet specifications.

After connecting to the monitor's main unit, initialize the module according to the on-screen instructions.

For invasive blood pressure monitoring, perform "Press² Zero" calibration on the sensors before use to ensure accurate blood pressure measurements.

For non-invasive blood pressure monitoring, select the appropriate cuff size based on the patient's condition and wrap it correctly around the patient's upper limb.

Then, use the "NBP Start/Stop" button to initiate the measurement.

To silence the alarm, press the "Mute" button, but be sure to address the cause of the alarm promptly and silence it.

When not in use, store the device in a dry, clean environment free of corrosive gases, avoiding direct sunlight, high temperatures, and high humidity.
